Take 395 north to Interstate 80 west and exit
at Virginia Street. Turn right (north) on Virginia Street and
drive approximately 1.0 mile.
From Interstate 80:
Exit at Virginia Street. Turn right (north) on Virginia Street.
Drive approximately 1.0 mile.
From North McCarran Blvd:
Turn south on North Virginia Street. Drive approximately
.5 mile. Lawlor Events Center will be on the left.

Parking at
Lawlor Events Center
For events held after 7 PM weekdays or weekends
Parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex
north of Lawlor Events Center*. This garage is accessible
from Virginia St with a right turn immediately after passing
Lawlor if you are traveling north. If you are traveling south
on Virginia Street turn left at the Fleishman Planetarium
sign, pass the Parking & Transportation Services building
and then drive forward into the garage. For our guests with
disabilities accessible parking is available on each level
of the West Stadium Parking Garage.
* If you are attending a Men's Basketball Game, general parking
is available in the Brian Whalen Parking Complex, levels 2-5
or the surface parking located north of the football stadium.
The West Stadium Parking Complex is reserved for athletic
permits only.
For events held weekdays prior to 7 PM
A proper parking permit must be displayed Monday through
Thursday, from 7:30am to 8:00pm and on Fridays from 7:30am
to 5:00pm. Groups planning to park on campus during this time
may purchase parking permits in advance or attendees may purchase
permits individually at the Information Center located at
the Center Street entrance to campus, upon their arrival.
Daily parking permits cost $5.00 each for all silver zones
including the Whalen Complex and $3.00 each for all other
zones.
Payment for Parking
There may be an additional fee for any off-street parking
while attending an event at Lawlor Events Center. Lawlor Events
Center does not control parking policy nor collect fees from
individuals for parking at the University of Nevada Reno.
This is handled exclusively by Parking and Transportation
Services. For additional information regarding parking on
